Satisfaction Guarantee, Exchanges & Returns
Capital Bedding offers a Satisfaction Guarantee on certain new items, outlined below. "In-store" refers to purchases made in-person at our physical retail location.
IN-STORE PURCHASES of mattress & boxsprings are eligible for a 50-night home trial, during which, if you are unsatisfied with your product it may be exchanged for a mattress of equal or lesser value. All exchange items MUST be in new, undamaged condition. Upgrade exchanges are available but will be charged the difference in price. A $75 re-delivery fee will be assessed if you require a second local delivery. While we do not offer refunds on in-store items, we have implemented this exchange policy and work full-time to make sure you are ultimately satisfied with your purchase.
ONLINE PURCHASES of mattresses, boxsprings, bedroom furniture, and futons are eligible for a 14-day home trial. During the 14-days after delivery of your item, if you are unsatisfied with your product it may be exchanged or returned as long as the item is in new condition with NO damage. You MUST contact us before arranging return shipping in order to receive return or exchange authorization. Refunds will be issued via the original payment method, less all shipping charges, after the item has been received in our store and fully inspected for damages. All exchange & return items MUST be in new, undamaged condition. Upgrade exchanges will be charged the difference in price. Exchange or return shipping, both ways, must be arranged and paid for by the customer.
Shipping
We offer free shipping in NJ. Local deliveries in the NJ area may include setup & removal of old bedding... this will be determined during order processing. In this situation, you will be contacted to arrange a delivery date & time.
Orders within the continental United States ship via UPS, Fedex, or a ground freight carrier. Depending on your order size & weight, we will contact various freight companies in order to find the fastest option.
At this time, we cannot accept orders and ship outside of the continental United States.
Inspection of Delivery
While rare, damages may occur to your items during transit & shipping. IMMEDIATELY inspect all shipments while the delivery driver is still present. Please consider the following:
- Are all items accounted for? If not, you may accept the delivered pieces, but note any missing pieces on the freight invoice. Contact us as soon as possible to find the missing pieces.
- Is there external damage? If there is external damage to the shipping containers (boxes, etc), note any damages on the freight invoice and have the driver sign-off on any noted damages. You may choose to accept your delivery.
- Is there severe damage to the boxes? If there is extensive damage to the shipping containers and obvious damage to your items, you may choose to refuse the shipment. Note the damages on the freight invoice and have the driver sign-off on the noted damages. Contact us as soon as possible.
If you find damages after the delivery is complete, please contact us as soon as possible.
Order-Cancellations
Order-cancellations are possible in some but not all cases. Call us as soon as possible. If the item has been ordered from the manufacturer, we are obligated to purchase the item. In this case, your order must be processed and cannot be canceled. A sales associate will let you know the status of your order.
General Policies
We normally ship within 7-10 days from the time your order is received. Free Local delivery.
- Mattress Products: In-store purchases are non-refundable - no customer service inquiries without original receipt. For in-store exchanges, please see "satisfaction guarantee" section above. Some online purchases are eligible for refunds or exchanges, please see "satisfaction guarantee" section above.
- All sales on close-outs, "As Is" items, one-of-a-kind sales, foam products, mismatch items and floor models are final.
- In-store sales on cots, hi-risers, sofabed mattresses, futons, futon covers, and frames are final.
- Deposits are non-refundable after 7 days and all deposits on special or custom orders after 3 days.
- Deposit refunds are by company check for cash and check deposits. Credit card deposits are by credit card credit only.
- Foam products do not carry warranties by the manufacturer or retailer. Longevity quotes are usage experience only and vary from customer to customer.
- All warranties apply to original purchaser.
- All warranties are by the manufacturer.
- Capital Bedding will assist the customer for service. Transportation and delivery costs are not covered by the warranties and may be assessed by Capital Bedding.
- Online sales & discounts are not valid for in-store purchases. In-store discounts are not valid for online purchases.
- Price discrepancies between our website and our retail location may occur. We will not issue rebates, refunds or money back in such instances.
